The staff at Best Western were incredibly accommodating and helpful. Even though we arrived early and had to climb a steep hill, their friendliness and the breathtaking views made it all worth it. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast had a wide variety of delicious options. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.

Comfort, and the place on the mountain

Location. Only because other places were fully booked for Midsommer.

Way overpriced for room. Very basic room. Should have been 1/2 the amount charged.

Located on a hillside overlooking a stunning lake, this hotel offers breathtaking views of the city below. Rooms are comfortable and clean, with powerful showers and comfortable beds. Staff are friendly and offer exceptional service, with great suggestions for activities and dining options. Breakfast buffet offers a lot to choose from, including warm baked bread and Swedish specialties. Guests can enjoy the sunset over the lake on provided blankets with a glass of wine.

The hotel lacks screens in the windows which makes it difficult to leave them open for fresh air.

This was a very special stay for me because my Dad, a U.S. airman interned in Sweden, lived at this hotel in 1944. The staff was professional, breakfast excellent, view incredible. It is an older hotel but still very comfortable.

We recently stayed at this hotel and were pleasantly surprised by our experience. The location was perfect, nestled on a hillside with stunning views of the lake. It was just a short walk to the city center, making it convenient for exploring. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they even went above and beyond by picking us up from the train station when we arrived late at night. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed, including a sitting area and a terrace to enjoy the scenery. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, offering a variety of delicious options to start our day. we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel to families looking for a luxurious and comfortable place to stay.

While there were no negative aspects to mention, we would definitely recommend this hotel to families.

When the weather was nice, sitting on the outdoor veranda with a view of the lake was fantastic. The included breakfast and coffee were excellent.

It was very expensive for being past the summer season when most services were closed, which we did not realize would be the case when we booked. Also, there was a terrible smell of some sort of solvent or paint in our hallway, but luckily not in our room.

Great views of lake Siljan. Nice-looking restaurant that we could not try.

Stains on towels. Some hair on bed and in bathroom. In general, it's a decent hotel, but if you're from out of Scandinavia, prepare your service expectations to Nordic levels. A good hotel with bad value-for- money for non-Scandinavians.

The hotel’s stunning view of the water and the small city below was breathtaking, making it a great place for a quiet and relaxing getaway. The warm baked bread and great breakfast options offered were a delight. the staff was welcoming and friendly, which made the stay even more enjoyable.

The hotel furnishings were a bit outdated and could benefit from some modernizing. However, the location was perfect for exploring the city, with plenty of parking space available.

The view from this hotel is breathtaking, located on the hill side overlooking the lake. The hotel facilities were great and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The breakfast had a good variety of options and was delicious. The location was easy to access with transportation and was in close proximity to the city centre.

Nice Views and Helpful Staff the hotel provides beautiful views of the surrounding area. the location is great with many attractions nearby. the staff was incredibly helpful - they went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. the room was really clean.

Noisy Rooms and Poor Amenities the rooms are very noisy, and it was impossible to sleep with all the noise coming from the outside. the amenities were not up to par - the gym was really small, and the pool was small too.
